Welcome! I am passionate about working with people of all cultures and backgrounds and have experience working with adults and teens through childhood trauma, sexual trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, and shame. Additionally, I have a special place in my heart for working with folks during their perinatal journey through infertility, pregnancy, loss, postpartum, as well as navigating life as a new parent. I love working with folks to reduce shame, symptoms of anxiety and depression, process trauma, and anything else that keeps you from experiencing life the way you want!
I am strong believer that therapy is best done at your pace, allowing for autonomy, and making room for all emotions, thoughts, and somatic responses that may come up. I am passionate about providing a warm, friendly, gentle, non-judgmental, and sometimes humorous space filled with empathy for you to explore whatever you would like.
I approach counseling from a trauma-informed lens, using techniques from theories such as: Person-Centered, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Relational-Cultural theory, to ease the difficult but rewarding process that is therapy.
