About
I work with individuals and couples/relationships. Many of my clients seek therapy because they want to improve their relationships with themselves, their partner, and their loved ones. I specifically work with individuals and couples who have experiences of trauma, depression, PTSD, anxiety, work stress, relationship challenges, affairs, break-ups, abuse, and/or major life transitions. I also work with entrepreneurs and executives that want to improve their personal and professional lives.
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based method for helping couples and relationships. I have a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida, with a certification in Animal Assisted Therapy in Counseling. I am also an adjunct professor and author in the field of mental health.
I strive to foster a safe and welcoming counseling environment, and am committed to ongoing personal and professional development. I participate in ongoing training and supervision in Emotionally-Focused Therapy, antiracism, and working with diverse populations including LGBTQIA+. I look forward to hearing from you!
