Hello, my name is Hannah Brugger and I am a graduate student at Gonzaga University working towards my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Upon graduation, I will meet the educational requirements to pursue licensure as a National Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Counseling can be a daunting step in your journey to wellness and I desire to be a guide on your road to well-being. I believe people have immense value and my goal is to help individuals discover their inherent worth. Not unlike a tender plant in a darkened room, everyone is reaching toward light and meaning.
I have training in suicide prevention, trauma-informed care, and crisis response for survivors of sexual assault. My experiences volunteering in the community have helped me develop skills in responding to unique situations, coming up with creative solutions, and responding directly to needs and questions. I want to help clients find hope in their lives!
My goal is to help you determine your purpose or light and learn skills that can enhance your ability to weather any storm. Part of my approach as a counselor is to provide a collaborative and uplifting environment, where individuals can leave feeling empowered, truly heard, and seen.
