My approach to counseling is humanistic and client-centered, so providing a warm, safe, and accepting environment for my clients and their families is paramount to my practice. I utilize Child-Centered Play Therapy, Experiential Play Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy to guide much of my work, though I consider myself to be eclectic overall to meet the varying needs of my clients. I work with children and adolescents to process life's challenges and work towards an overall goal of regulation, peace, and holistic well-being.
I specialize in working with children and teens with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm, behavioral challenges, academic struggles, self-esteem concerns, and all of our many life transitions.
I am incredibly passionate about working with children, teens, and families, and honor the strength and courage it can take to share your experiences with a counselor. I consider it a privilege to be able to share in those moments with my clients and be able to help them strive towards their goals and overall well-being!
