I have experience working with clients across the life-span on a number of issues including life transitions, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ concerns, etc. I specialize in grief/loss and suicidality as these are topics that I feel often get pushed to the side. I especially enjoy working with teens and folks in the LGBTQ+ community.
I utilize a variety of modalities in my therapeutic practice and tailor each session to the presenting needs of the individual. I use interventions that focus on being trauma-informed, strengths based, and person-centered. My main goal is to create a space and relationship that is non-judgmental, supportive, and affirming to all!
I seek to create a welcoming environment for all of my clients with a focus on fostering relationships. I firmly believes that my clients are the experts in the room - and my role is simply to help bring awareness of patterns and potentially harmful behaviors. I strive to walk beside my clients as a companion on their mental health journeys!
