Welcome! I’m Hannah Armbruster and I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio. My passion is helping women and girls who feel trapped by their past and want to move forward but fear the uncomfortable parts of healing from trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem challenges. My job as a therapist is to guide you through this process and help you to keep going, especially when it gets difficult or scary. I'm not here to do the work for you, I am simply a tool for you to use in your journey of self-discovery.
I am a trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. If EMDR is not something you are ready for, that is okay! I also use techniques from other types of therapy such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based practices, and pulling from your personal strengths.
I know from my own life experiences how uncomfortable it can be to not feel at home in your own body and how difficult it can be to accept yourself the way that you are. I am here to support you throughout this journey. My goal is to provide a judgment-free and safe space where you feel comfortable in sharing your story.
