Whether you're transitioning to a new job, anxious about a relationship, navigating a recent loss, these adjustments can feel stressful and overwhelming. I have experience working with trauma, grief, life transitions, depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, and academic/occupational issues. I enjoy working with college/graduate students and young professionals. I am trained in a range of modalities including CBT and DBT, but overall, I am person-centered, attachment based and psychodynamically oriented. Thus, I approach therapy from a trauma-focused lens, providing a safe space for clients to process all thoughts and feelings.
I believe that the foundation of a rich, healing therapeutic experience is the relationship between the client and therapist. This is because therapy is relational and collaborative. With a warm sense of humor and a relatable personality, I do not believe that therapy is “one size fits all.” I tailor my approach to meet my clients where they are.
Starting therapy can feel challenging, intimidating, and scary.
