Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
" Simply become who you are." My goal is to walk with my clients as they navigate the sometimes confusing process of "becoming." I offer strength based, relationship focused support to young children and the adults who care for them. I work with caregivers to increase awareness and understanding of the unique challenges and gifts these early years bring. I also offer support to adults going through life's transitions - be it beginning a new career, marriage, divorce, starting or ending school, death, unexpected illness or other changes in life that have left you feeling a bit lost for direction.
I offer an open hearted, theoretically sound, eclectic approach to supporting individuals. When working with young children I focus on the Infant Mental Health theory of "watch, wait and wonder" to develop the best strategies for growth. When working with adults I use a combination of approaches to offer the needed support you are seeking.
Are you wanting to better understand your parenting style and how it impacts your relationship with the young children in your life? Are you at a crossroads in your life and feeling somewhat lost as to the next best steps? Are you grieving a death, dealing with a health crisis of your own? I am here to support you on your way back to solid ground.
