Many of my clients are people who feel deeply, think a lot, and carry more than most people realize. They may struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, emotional shutdown, or patterns of self-protection that once made sense but no longer feel helpful, whether that may be from trauma or other life experiences. On the outside, they may seem composed or capable, while internally feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to access what they actually need.
I see therapy as a space where you can exhale a little. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in getting to know you as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms. I pull from evidence based practices, but I care most about helping clients feel understood, supported, and more connected to themselves as they move through whatever they are facing.
If starting therapy feels a little uncomfortable or unfamiliar, that’s okay. A lot of people are used to pushing through, second-guessing themselves, or feeling like they should be able to handle it alone. You don’t need to have everything neatly sorted before you begin.
