I'm an experienced psychotherapist working with adolescents, adults and their families dealing with depression, anxiety, dissociative disorders, trauma, self-injury, substance use, school anxiety/school refusal, hallucinations, suicidal ideation, family conflict, career and life transitions and more. While my background is adolescent, family and young adult mental health counseling, I work with adults in all life stages and I am especially passionate about serving LGBTQ+ populations. My goal in treatment is to help clients improve internal resources and build additional support to meet their goals.
I primarily work from a dialectal behavior therapy model integrated with internal family systems while incorporating strategies and interventions that suit specific clients' needs from a variety of other therapeutic modalities. I believe therapy is most effective with a therapist who brings their real self into the sessions and is flexible open and honest.
