Therapy is self care and self love. You have taken the first step by coming to this website. I am already proud of you and excited for your journey. As a clinician, I am here to not only listen, but to ask thought provoking questions, encourage self reflection and foster your growth. Mine, is a safe space where you can share personal truths without fear of judgement or shame. If you are ready to break old habits, discard of negative thoughts and people, move through your grief, change your focus and your life, improve your marriage and relationships, and embrace the new you. I am ready and willing to assist. Let's get started!
As a clinician, I work mainly with individuals, couples and families. We focus on effective communication, e.g. speaking and listening. Communication is the key to problem solving in most relationships. As a child of parents who have been in a loving marriage for over 55 years, my goal is to try to help save marriages and other types of relationships.
As a woman of color, I understand and appreciate how tough life can be. It is easy to feel alone in the struggle. My goal is to meet you where you are and assist in guiding you in the direction of your therapy and life goals. One of the techniques I use to achieve this kind of result is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Brief therapy works.
