Hello, My name is Halima Eid LPCC 13443. I have over 4+ years of experience working with various issues including relationship/marriage conflicts, eating disorders, transgenerational trauma, racial trauma, homelessness, familial conflicts, being a first-generation college student, religious and cultural barriers, etc. I work with individuals from a holistic approach, taking into account all aspects of the individual's life (social, relational, emotional, mental, physical, cultural, and environmental) that may impact their overall wellness.
I have experience working with various eating disorders and individuals who struggle with body dysmorphia. I also have experience working with individuals who struggle with racial trauma, cultural/identity issues, and gender roles. I worked with couples and provided pre-marital counseling and family therapy.
My approach also includes emotion-focused therapy, where clients learn how to regulate and cope with negative emotions in more healthy ways and create more positive narratives for themselves. Clients can expect a direct but compassionate approach when working with me. I do my best to create a safe and trusting environment for all of my clients.
