I'm passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma, grief, or loss. I also help individuals with depression and anxiety, and those who are navigating their experiences and beliefs around sexual health, sexuality, and physical/emotional intimacy.
As a mixed-race, Latina-White therapist, I also have interest and experience working with individuals navigating different cultures, as well as first generation college students and individuals within the LGBTQIA+ and Latinx communities.
My approach is integrative with a relational and cultural base. I incorporate theories including trauma-informed, positive psychology, sex-positive, and client-centered approaches. When applicable, I also help provide skills and cognitive and behavioral strategies.
