My ideal client is someone who is searching for meaning in their lives, is open to trying different solutions/coping skills, finds themselves at a stuck point in their life, or someone who needs help with processing negative experiences. Ideally, their goals would include an overall increased sense of satisfaction with their life, a deeper understanding of their hardships, or a restored sense of confidence in themselves and their ability to overcome obstacles. An ideal client would be interested in how to connect our thoughts, feelings, and actions while also identifying places to dig a little deeper.
I offer a person centered, CBT approach to therapy. I believe in the power of the mind and I appreciate the significant impact that our thoughts can have on the rest of our lives. I value gentle challenges in the therapy space to introduce a new perspective. My number one priority, however, is my alliance with my clients. It's the foundation of healing.
