As a private practice clinician, with a social work background, I resonate deeply with my NASW Code of Ethics and believe strongly in the dignity and worth of every person. No matter your background, current circumstance, or internalized narrative, you are worthy of creating a life worth living, whatever that means to you. We have all abandoned/exiled parts of ourselves at one point or another. I work with client's of various ages and professions to bring light to their shadows and disarm their shame, so they can return home to self and live whole-hearted, fulfilling lives.
I am passionate about utilizing TF-CBT, via parallel process when possible, to assist children (ages 12-18) and their caregivers in addressing and reducing post traumatic stress symptom experiencing and in having the privilege of witnessing and being part of such a transformational process.
