I currently only have evening/night availability on Tuesdays and two Saturdays per month. Life altering experiences can cause us to feel physically and emotionally unsafe leading us to ruminate on the past, overthink and worry about the future, and expect something bad to happen. Daily tasks can become difficult, and sometimes talking feels like it makes things worse. Imagine feeling secure, safe, and enjoying every day things without worrying about what’s next. It is possible to find a way to accept things as they are, reconnect with the people you care about, and enjoy the things that mean the most to you.
I don’t believe that we need to talk through every detail to achieve healing. I use a combination of talk therapies and EMDR to shift from negative thoughts and responses to more positive adaptive beliefs and behaviors. I support healing by encouraging autonomy, helping you feel more present, even tempered and free from the things that weigh you down.
I have worked with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and other adverse experiences. I believe in a holistic approach where we not only focus on the things you struggle with, but also focus on how to move forward and live a life full of meaningful experiences and relationships.
