I decided to start a career in mental health because a therapist saved my life when I was a teenager. I have dedicated my life to helping others in the same way, and I truly believe it is my calling. I have been a therapist/counselor for 7 years, and I have been working in the mental health field for 10 years. I will do everything within my ability to help improve your overall mood and quality of life in general. I offer traditional talk therapy, which includes a mixture of CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, collaborative space where we get to know each other. We’ll start by talking through what’s bringing you to therapy, your current challenges, and any goals or hopes you might have. I’ll also ask some questions about your history to get a fuller picture of your experiences.
What sets me apart as a therapist is my ability to truly relate. I’ve struggled with my own mental health challenges, so I understand deeply and personally how overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting it can feel. Because of that, I bring empathy, nonjudgment, and real-life insight into every session.
