I decided to start a career in mental health because a therapist saved my life when I was a teenager. I have dedicated my life to helping others in the same way, and I truly believe it is my calling. I have been a therapist/counselor for 6 years, and I have been working in the mental health field for 9 years. I will do everything within my ability to help improve your overall mood and quality of life in general. I offer traditional talk therapy, which includes a mixture of CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy. I'm an EMDR-trained clinician. EMDR can be used to treat a variety of mental health concerns.
I have experience in working with adults of all ages and children ages 3 and up. I have worked with clients with a wide variety of presenting problems, including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, issues related to attachment, low self-esteem, schizophrenia, ADHD, OCD, codependency, and gender dysphoria.
