Something brought you here—anxiety that won't lift, a relationship pattern that keeps repeating, or the inexplicable grief of infertility or pregnancy loss. Maybe you've been high-achieving, chasing perfection, for so long that you've lost touch with what's happening underneath. I'm a licensed clinical psychologist in Austin. I work with anxiety and perfectionism, attachment and relationship patterns, and the pregnancy and postpartum years. Many of my clients arrive able to name the pattern, trace where it came from, and describe it in detail—and still find themselves inside it at 2 a.m. Insight isn't the missing piece.

You've already tried reasoning with your thoughts; what you're after now is something deeper. My approach is relational and depth-oriented. I participate actively — I'll tell you what I'm noticing, including what happens between us. Clients say that makes the work feel real and more useful. I'm not a therapist who nods along quietly.

I work best with people who are curious, willing to slow down, and looking for lasting change rather than a quick fix. This isn't brief, solution-focused work.
