I am passionate about working with folks highly motivated to grow and create positive change in their lives by breaking cycles of abuse and trauma. Clients of mine have described themselves as “too self-aware for therapy” or an “intellectualizer,” often due to the intersection of neurodivergence (ADHD/Autism) and complex trauma.
While understanding our traumas are an important part of healing, I believe we must move into our bodies and truly feel our emotions in order to experience a deeper sense of connection and healing within ourselves. I help facilitate this through multiple trauma-informed, somatic, and relational lenses like EMDR, Attachment theory, and IFS/Parts work.
Because our experiences in various communities also impact our connection to ourselves, I do the work to be a culturally-sensitive, antiracist, and LGBTQIA+ inclusive therapist. I deeply understand the importance of safe relationships in our healing process and feel honored to hold space for clients to engage with their own healing processes.
