Do you struggle with overwhelming and unpredictable waves of emotion? Find yourself doing well in certain areas of your life, like work, but feel frustrated or out of control at home or in relationships? Perhaps you’re questioning your gender identity or trying to plan transition steps. My practice specialties including helping people understand and heal from complex trauma, and working with queer and transgender folks. I can also help with a wide range of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, and single incident traumas. Additionally, I provide free assessment and letters for gender affirming surgery.
I commonly draw on aspects of EMDR, internal family systems, and sensorimotor therapy in my work along with an underlying foundation in humanistic therapy. As a queer trans man I bring my own life experiences to the room while recognizing and embracing that each person is wholly unique. My aim is to understand your individual strengths and goals.
Choosing a therapist can be hard! If you think I might be a good fit I encourage you to reach out – I offer free phone consultations so you can ask me questions and I can learn about what brings you to therapy.
