I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 6 years of professional experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, including social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, health anxiety, selective mutism, and phobias. I have also worked extensively with depression and trauma, which often co-occur with other disorders. I earned my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University.
I use an integrative approach, incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure therapy (ET), to create individualized treatment plans for each client. My goal as a counselor is to build a positive, supportive, and encouraging relationship with my clients.
I believe that the process of therapy involves collaboration, encouragement, and challenge. I am passionate about helping clients identify, refute, and change negative thoughts to develop a positive mindset and adaptive behaviors.
