Hello, my name is Lavinia Rosen. I am an LCSW, 121583, with the state of California. My focus on therapy is getting one to learn how to manage their feelings and thoughts that can result in negative behaviors. I strive to provide psychoeducation to my clients with their diagnosis, symptoms, and how their symptoms, stressors, or anxiety relate to behaviors. I focus on cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and clients with severe mental illness.
Goal setting is set between the client(s) and myself. I aid in exploring their short and long-term goals, then setting and working on the steps to reach those goals.
The first session generally consists of obtaining client's history and areas of struggle they are currently experiencing in order to begin the process of exploring and setting goals.
