I help individuals heal from religious trauma and the impact of high-control groups, including the Mormon/LDS Church and other fundamentalist communities. My clients often struggle with people-pleasing, perfectionism, self-trust, boundaries, guilt/shame, and uncertainty about identity or values. Together, we process spiritual harm, navigate family and community dynamics, and rebuild a grounded, authentic sense of self. I offer virtual therapy across California and Utah.

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support healing and growth. I also offer EMDR to help process trauma and reduce distress. These approaches can help you build self-trust, set boundaries, and reconnect with who you are outside of rigid or harmful belief systems.

Religious trauma can deeply affect a person’s core identity. Therapy can help you reconnect with who you are, especially when you work with a therapist who understands religious trauma.
