Call/text- 406-698-0402 Accepting New Client in MAY
I am trained in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma, with 29 years of counseling experience. I enjoy working with all ages and couples.
In treating individuals with trauma, I help my clients heal from painful experiences, overwhelming emotions, and patterns that no longer serve them. Using EMRR and other trauma informed therapy. I support clients in safely processing distressing memories and restoring a sense of calm, clarity and decreasing symptoms of anxiety. I support the brain’s natural ability to heal so that painful memories no longer control the present.
I am a Christian yet, I respect all client's spirituality. I am trained in advanced EMDR, Somatic Psychotherapy, IFS, CBT, Gottman Couples Therapy Techniques, and DNMS. I believe it is essential to utilize a variety of techniques to meet the diverse needs of my clients. I currently attended the Psychotherapy Networker conference in March, studying IFS.
I help couples identify issues with their communication and help clients learn to better resolve conflict. I challenge their perspectives and help them set goals while maintaining an supportive approach by using the Gottman Model
With my younger clients, I utilize movement, play therapy, or art to build trust and establish a strong therapeutic relationship.
