Everyone faces challenges at some time in their life. Seeking help for yourself, your child or your relationship when experiencing difficulties is a strength which can lead to new insights and a more fulfilling and happy life. I am an empathetic and understanding therapist. I listen to my clients and focus on their strengths and desired goals. My clients have remarked that my style is warm and engaging which enables me to begin the therapeutic process quickly. I am an eclectic practitioner using a number of modalities, ie. cognitive-behavioral,acceptance & commitment, emotion-focused, and play-based with children & families.

I specialize in the treatment of children, teens and their families to overcome trauma, difficulties in work/school/college, and behavior/ emotional difficulties. I also have a special interest in women's issues and transitions. I was awarded 2015 Social Worker of the Year ~National Association of Social Workers Calumet.

I have completed additional training in the areas of trauma in adults and children, dual diagnoses, play therapy, grief/loss and adjustment pertaining to death, chronic pain/illness and divorce. My advocacy work was highlighted in the book, "Taking Action, Saving Lives" Dr. Shrader-Frechette- Notre Dame Professor.
