I am a compassionate and experienced psychotherapist who creates a supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore difficult questions about themselves and seek their individual truths. My goal is to help others find ways to balance their desire for growth and change with their need for love and self-acceptance.
I integrate elements of many approaches to help clients recognize problematic patterns of behavior, and the underlying thoughts, feelings and experiences that make these hard to change. I encourage clients to develop an attitude of curiousity and acceptance towards themselves and others, and an openness to new ways of being.
I have a holistic view and am familiar with many alternative approaches to health care. When appropriate, I provide relaxation, visualization and stress management training.
I also am trained in The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music, a deeply transformational approach that taps into inner healing potential.
