I also specialize in working with adults struggling with issues stemming from unresolved emotional injury, including childhood abuse/neglect, violence, sexual abuse, death/loss, and/or other traumatic events.
My approach to therapy is to explore and generate awareness, understanding and compassion for all aspects of the individual. (Internal Family Systems). As a bereavement counselor with Hospice I received additional training on issues of death and loss, and I have extensive knowledge of 12 step programs and background in treating addictions and codependency.
