I have been in this field for over a decade working in community mental health agency and then private practice. I am currently level 1 and level 2 trained through the Gottman Institute where there have been evidence based work for couples with great success rates. I am also currently pursuing EMDR training which is utilized for big and small trauma.
I engage my clients in the good (albeit sometimes hard) work of healing. People are sometimes afraid of facing parts of their life that are painful alongside a therapist.
