I’m passionate about helping others process trauma and support others in cultivating healthier thought patterns and behaviors through cognitive-behavioral techniques. My clinical practice philosophy is to start where the client is, acknowledging their past experiences and trauma, and bringing it into practice to help heal and live a productive and progressive life. I believe in people’s resilience and self-determination to be the most important tool in any therapeutic recovery.
I help individuals navigate life transitions, anxiety, and trauma through a client-centered and collaborative approach, providing a safe and supportive environment for healing. Using EMDR in trauma-focused therapy helps to process and target the client's trauma, which can help bring change and grow into a new, healthy lifestyle.
I make it a priority to bring in clear, open communication to create a safe environment free of judgment. Active listening and being present during sessions are my main focus when communicating with my clients, while also providing opportunities to reflect on their experiences with you as an empathetic therapist.
