I provide individual therapy to adults (ages 20+) and specialize in helping clients heal from the impact of trauma and chronic stress. Taking the step to begin therapy can create mixed feelings for some. I will meet you where you are, realizing that you have a unique story, which you’re free to share at your own pace. Just a brief history about me: my experience as a therapist began over 25 years ago and has included various populations, who have shared stories of rejection, abandonment, and spiritual and emotional brokenness.
I help clients to recognize their strengths and resiliency as they work towards healing. I have a special interest in helping adults heal from childhood trauma and working with first responders. I am certified in EMDR and trauma and trained in somatic ("body-based") therapies.
I love what I do! I offer a free phone consultation for those who may have questions about whether therapy (or me) may be a good fit. I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone. If I'm unable to accommodate you, I can make referrals to other community resources.
