About
Becoming a parent is a unique and transformative experience. From the moment of conception through the journey of parenting there is an array of unknown rewards, challenges and experiences. At times parents have no idea how they will feel or react to these challenges and realize that they need help and support through their own journey as parents. Research proves the way we were parented, the environment in which we developed, and the situations around us influence the way we feel and behave as parents.
If you are pregnant and you or your partner realize that your anxiety or depression is becoming overwhelming. Or you have a child under 11 that is presenting challenging or concerning behaviors. I can help. Young children that have experienced a significant loss of someone important to him/her or a frightening event can benefit from therapy.
I am a bicultural Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been a researcher, consultant and trainer in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) for 10 years. I have over 15 years of experience providing assessments, consultation and psychotherapy for pregnant women, young children and their families around anxiety, depression, behavioral issues and trauma
