Sometimes it seems like we are trapped in an unfulfilling routine that repeats week after week. It feels like a constant struggle to try to keep up with our responsibilities, and we start to wonder if we’re even getting anywhere worthwhile. The news headlines are depressing, the future feels uncertain at best, and even finding time and energy for self-care is challenging. It’s easy to fall into bad habits, and harder to build the healthy ones. When all of that is topped with work stress, relationship or health challenges, parenting struggles, loss of a loved one, or a traumatic event, it can become too much to bear alone.
Sometimes we just need someone to see that we are struggling and listen to our frustrations. Friends and family are often occupied with their own lives, or maybe they just don't understand. As your therapist, my wish is to offer you a safe place to sort out your troubles, and ultimately to help you cultivate a richer and more meaningful life experience.
