Why is it difficult to call a stranger for help, for counseling? Most likely because the caller is vulnerable and sometimes it is hard to ask for help. My goal, as a therapist, is to explore ways with my clients to help them get past what it is that is troubling them. I want to help my clients build a bridge to a healthier future.

As a practicing Roman Catholic, I am well-versed in our theology. I am very comfortable bringing faith issues into our therapeutic sessions, but only if my clients are comfortable with that.

Many of my clients are couples in need of strengthening their relationship. I also see people who are depressed or anxious. With previous experience in hospice and pediatric oncology social work, I see clients for grief, loss or bereavement issues.
