As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I enjoy working with children and adolescents struggling with social communication difficulties, grief, anxiety, depression, anger, poor self esteem, and poor coping patterns, to name a few. I also work with families struggling with communication and behavior issues. I aim to help with "heeling" beyond traditional counseling interventions but rather through experiential learning and human-animal interactions. Relational trauma is the experience of repeated neglect, abuse, bullying, or other type of behavior that causes lasting psychological harm. It's usually perpetrated by a family member or other close loved one, and the repercussions are chronic and severe.
