Do you find yourself longing for a deeper connection with yourself and others? You want close relationships and yet these very relationships become a source of pain? Many people find their way to therapy feeling lost, confused, and alone. For me, a most valuable aspect of therapy is connecting with a caring other and being able to undo the loneliness that one feels in their experience. Feeling connected in therapy allows individuals to access important core emotions and gain a deeper sense of themselves. My goal is that people leave therapy with a renewed sense of vitality and a coherent narrative of who they are.

It is so painful when we realize we are causing much of our own suffering, and yet this evokes hope for growth and healing. I am a psychotherapist trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). AEDP is an emotion focused therapy that works experientially to address defenses and connect individuals with their core emotions.

I work relationally to explore connection and deeply appreciate getting to know the people I work with. I have training in Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) which provides me with a somatic (body) framework for working with anxiety and emotions. My goal is to help individuals connect deeply with themselves and the people they love.
