Ms. Heidi R. Tom takes a strengthsbased, supportive, and solutionfocused approach approach. He utilizes evidencebased practices from a variety of modalities to engage children and adults. Many of his clients work on issues relating to managing stress, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, attachment/trauma, parenting, relationships, social emotional learning for autism, ADHD/ADD, impulse control/mindfulness.

I graduated and started my career as a registered nurse (RN) in 2010. I have worked in acute care settings for 12 years until 2022 when I became a psychiatric mental-health nurse practitioner. I see patients through telehealth and in-office out of East Lansing. I manage mental health issues with medications and lifestyle changes.
