In practice for over 30 years, my approach is simple. Over the last 10 years, I have had the opportunity to provide compassionate service to individuals, groups, and families who are experiencing challenges related to, depression, anxiety/panic, mood disorders, mental health crisis, substance use, psychosis, life transitions, and additional life stressors; with an expertise in the areas of grief/loss, trauma, and traumatic loss.

It can happen as a result of trauma, loss, rejection, a serious health diagnosis or unwanted change. Like a physical wound, if left untreated it can become infected and lead to symptoms like anxiety and depression. My name is Mindy Tomlinson and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I have over 15 years of experience in the behavioral health field working with a variety of presenting problems and concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief, substance use and abuse as well as other behavior changes. I have an eclectic style of counseling, drawing upon Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused therapy, Person-Centered, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy in order to see how thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected and affect our daily lives.
