I am most interested in the transitions of life as well as the accompanying feelings, opportunities and losses that these bring about. Together we will work on clarifying your needs and goals while we can explore the steps needed to bring your life back into balance. Each stage and choice in life brings about unique challenges. If you're feeling stuck in a relationship, coping pattern, job, unsure how to handle everyday stresses we will work on developing skills to manage more effectively.
In a warm and comforting setting we can quickly determine the direction and steps needed to take off in . Parents of teens, young adults, LGBT, men and elders describe their experience working with me as supportive and informative, while facing difficult issues, pushing past comfort zones and exploring possibilities.
Life can be hard, throw curve balls, and render us feeling out of control. I use tools from a variety of therapies, CBT, Mindfulness and Brief Therapy- to help you develop, build and integrate coping skills suited to your needs and personality. Often other needs in your life can hinder progress and as such I will work with you to access needed resources.
