I am a therapist specializing in adolescent, individual, couples and family therapy. I have been maintaining my private practice for the last 10 years. I received my Bachelor in Science in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University Fullerton and my Master in Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University. I see therapy as a way of helping clients cultivate genuine compassion for themselves. My focus balances an exploration of the client's past strengths and present goals.
I specialize in counseling adolescents, individuals, couples and families in a non-judgmental and compassionate manner. I collaborate with clients in coping with interpersonal, problematic relationships, family conflict, parent-child conflict, depression, anxiety/panic disorders, mood disorders, substance dependence/substance abuse, trauma, life transitions, and grief/loss issues.
I have received intensive training and specialization in working with at-risk youth and their families doing Multidimensional Family Therapy. Through applying this therapy, I have seen families work through the most challenging times and strengthen family bonds when little to no hope were seen at the beginning of treatment.
