I specialize in relationship difficulties with self, friends, family and partners, food and body. These relational strains may leave you feeling stuck, anxious, sad, and defeated. I also focus on the impacts of developmental trauma including neglect and abuse. Together, we may explore your unique inner life and lived history in addition to current socio-cultural considerations. I practice from a relational and interpersonal model, primarily, which means I use our relationship itself as one of the tools to get to know the many parts of you. This process tends to help people grow the understanding needed to make actionable change.
I work best with patients motivated for deep work and whose struggle with relationships and relational trauma have led to emotional dysregulation, anxiety, physical symptoms, sadness, and self- esteem issues. I have written and presented on the role of technology, social media and current culture in patients' lives.
