About
I am a Grief Counselor. This is my niche and specialty as a psychotherapist. I am best suited to work with clients who need professional support and educational resources to help facilitate the grief process. This is a time of upheaval and change - as we struggle to cope with the death of a loved one. The death may be sudden and unexpected or it may result from a chronic/long-term illness. I use an integrative therapy approach that is personalized to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Clients I see have experienced the death of a loved one. Usually, the death has been sudden and unexpected. Many are traumatic in nature. Traumatic deaths include: Suicide, Homicide, Car Accidents and Drug Overdoses. I have extensive training in assessing and treating Complicated/Prolonged Grief as well as processing Uncomplicated Grief.
I specialize in grief, loss and life transitions. I am a solo- practitioner in private practice. I think my specialty makes my practice unique because this is my area of focus and concentration. Over the years, I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and counseling experience in this field.
