As a psychotherapist with 20+ years of experience using Jungian psychology to help adults, adolescents, and children, I address a wide variety of issues and challenges, including relationships, depression, anxiety, trauma, malaise, spiritual trials and child development. When we sit together, we will explore your “shadow.” Your shadow is made up of parts you do not accept about yourself, and it sometimes generates overwhelming emotions when it breaks into everyday life. This work is about building a bridge to your inner world that will bring wholeness and balance.
Sandplay therapy can compliment talk therapy. Your hands in Sandplay therapy gives shape to powers active in your unconscious. Using Sandplay can lead to deeper layers of your psyche. Your hands can bridge your inner and external worlds as you create a concrete picture from your imagination using sand, water and small objects in a free and protected space.
Jungian psychotherapy reestablishes a balance where the ego is strengthened by the integration of our shadow side, ultimately connecting us to the greater personality, the Self.
