Life is tough. Relationships can be difficult and circumstances can be hard. Sometimes things can be overwhelming. Having someone walk with you through difficult experiences can often be helpful. My name is Greg Carter and I am a licensed professional counselor here in Colorado Springs. I received a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. I work with individuals and couples through a variety of issues such as trauma, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, domestic violence, neglect, life transitions, and general dissatisfaction in life.
Difficulties in life can create various emotional and behavioral symptoms. As a counselor, I address many issues such as anger, anxiety, depression, grief, guilt, loneliness, loss of meaning, self-esteem, shame, stress, suicidal ideation, and more. I also help to resolve relationship and communication problems, and improve conflict resolution skills.
My goal as a counselor is to assist people in finding healing and growth, and recovering joy, freedom, and life. Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties and move forward in a positive direction.
