I work with those suffering from alcoholism and addiction, codependent relationships, and those seeking spirituality. The goal is to be free from that addictive relationship and form new healthy relationships. Professional literature demonstrates most successful results in treating addiction/alcoholism comes from working in groups with other alcoholics/addicts. However, many struggle with anxiety in group settings and need individual attention before feeling comfortable in a group. I can help. I also have training with Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and seeking a PhD in Quantum Metaphysics.
I am the current clinical director and a primary counselor at Red Hill Recovery, own Voices of Recovery, LLC, and a board member of Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors And Trainers. I am a Certified Group Psychotherapist with American Group Psychotherapy Association and Louisiana Coordinator for Souldrama founded by Connie Miller, LPC.

Groups
12-step existential Group
Long-term sobriety from any addiction has best results in group settings. Therefore, I offer a once a week 12-step existential group allowing members to explore their daily struggle with old 'addictive' thought patterns and replace them with solution focused thinking in a spiritual context . This is an "open group" which mean members can join or leave at any time; however, confidentiality is sacred requiring all members to adhere to confidentiality. Recommendations for length of attendance is determined by client and counselor based on individual needs. Please contact counselor for individual orientation session and appropriateness.
