Perhaps you, like so many today, are experiencing increased anxiety and/or depression, or are experiencing strained relationships. Or perhaps old dysfunctional coping habits have worsened and made you feel stuck. Whatever you are dealing with, I will assist you through a process that will lead to more emotional control, more connectedness and more self compassion. I do follow the tenet that "life must be understood backwards, but lived forwards" (Soren Kierkegaard). We will work with current issues with the focus on improved well being, but will examine past patterns to help guide our work forward to growth and change.
I work with adults, teens and couples. I use a relational approach, rooted in attachment theory. I also incorporate trauma informed therapy, parts work and somatic interventions in my process. With couples, I have training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and The Couples Institute. I'm able to facilitate an environment of exploration and change.
