My work with clients focuses initially on creating a safe and effective working relationship. We do talk about specific problem areas and address coping and symptom reduction. But I think what I do best is help my clients see the underlying issues that are producing problems in their lives.
I have received post doctorate training and education in relational psycho-dynamic psychotherapy and have been in practice for over 20 years. In addition, I was the clinical director of an outpatient psycho-therapy clinic for 15 years which included an active role in the training and supervision of therapists.
