Movie/Cinema Therapy
Cinema Therapy uses movies, particularly videos, as therapeutic tools. Cinema therapy can be a catalyst for healing and growth for those who are open to learning how movies affect people and to watching certain films with conscious awareness. Cinema therapy allows one to use the effect of imagery, plot, music, etc. in films on the psyche for insight, inspiration, emotional release or relief and natural change. Used as part of psychotherapy, cinema therapy is an innovative method based on traditional therapeutic principles.
Teen Social Anxiety and Adulting Group
The Teen Social Anxiety and Adulting Group, focuses on helping young adults who are having difficulty moving forward in life. Young adults who have issues with social interactions, school or work often have fallen into bad habits which keep them stuck in childhood. Members will discover strategies for dealing with difficult emotions like anxiety, sadness, anger, and uncertainty, and practical life skills.
Adult Social Anxiety, Agoraphobia Group
Living with Social Anxiety (SAD), and re-entering the world after the PANDEMIC/ Covid-19.? If you have SAD, you have probably spent much of your life avoiding the social situations that trigger your anxiety. Your communication skills and confidence in your abilities have likely suffered as a result. This leads to poor self-esteem and increased anxiety. Group therapy is a great place to build social skills and reduce anxiety in a non-threatening environment.
