At Greenpoint Psychotherapy, we are dedicated to challenging the impacts of structural inequalities such as racism, sexism, classism, anti-trans discrimination, oppression, stigma, and ableism. Our practice is committed to fostering compassion, inclusivity, and diversity by creating supportive, growth-orientated spaces with room for honest discussion. We believe in continually expanding our understanding of the impact of intersectionality to recognize and address our own biases. We imagine a world where mental health is de-stigmatized. We work toward this by empowering individuals, couples, and biological, and chosen family systems.

We use an integration of psychodynamic, relational, CBT, DBT, yoga, and mindfulness to help clients to develop more of the characteristics they would like for themselves and improve communication. We are able to provide support and psychoeducation for many problems, but especially in the areas of trauma, life-change events, communication, and codependency.
We are a growing practice and are currently taking new clients. Additionally we have a variety of group therapy options. Current offerings: Exploring Sexuality, Body Image Support Group, Narrative Therapy for Teens, Artful Healing: Depression Support Group, and Supporting Family Members Impacted By Substance Use Disorders.
