As a first-generation Latina, it brings me joy to work with those navigating putting their mental well-being first and breaking generational cycles.
I completed my internship with Trauma Healing Services providing therapy to victims of crime. Now as a provider at Arroyo Psychological Services, I am hoping to continue working with those struggling with how your lived experiences affect your day to day life. Whether that be attachment concerns, people-pleasing, or struggling with saying no.
I have a person-centered approach that allows for flexibility throughout client sessions. My trauma-focused background of working with victims of crime has led me to developing interventions skills using parts work (Internal Family Systems), Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Polyvagal Therapy.
When I am not providing therapy services, I enjoy reading and supporting local booksellers, baking, being crafty, spending time with friends, and going thrifting.
